Healthy Caesar Salad with Additive-Free Bacon Bits

Add a little bit of zing to your Caesar salad with healthy bacon bits!  Take your Mr Bacon and heavily cook it to create crunchy yummy bacon bits.   This veggie heavy dish is a classic and goes well with any main!  Kids like the crunch.  Parents like the healthiness of it.  Win win!

Ingredients

  • Lettuce
  • Red cabbage
  • Carrots
  • Paprika
  • Caesar salad dressing
  • Powdered cheese
  • Black Pepper
  • Mr. Bacon Original Bacon

Time: 10 minutes

Difficulty: Easy

Extra: Tastes great with our solo spice!

Directions

1 Chop bacon finely and fry in advance.

2 Cut lettuce into bite-sized pieces, and shred carrots and red cabbage. Thinly slice bell peppers.

3 Arrange the cut vegetables on a plate in a colorful manner and top with the fried bacon.

4 Pour Caesar salad dressing over the top. Sprinkle with additional powdered cheese and black pepper for an even richer flavor. You can also substitute Mr. Bacon's Solo Spice for the black pepper.

5. Finished.

Very easy to make, but very tasty. Good for entertaining, lunch, or as a snack!
